The majority of their sites offer fire pits to gather around in the evening. Spend a day at the Quarry Exhibit Hall at Dinosaur National Monument examining the wall of more than 1,500 fossils. Daily ranger programs educate both young and old about Utah’s long-gone inhabitants at this state-of-the-art facility.

5. Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area

Flaming Gorge Reservoir has been a popular Utah attraction for years. It is a huge reservoir providing outstanding opportunities for boating, fishing, skiing, jet skiing, houseboating, and other water sports. Three full-service marinas offer launching, storage, and maintenance facilities. The recreation area also offers many campgrounds and hiking areas.
